For journeys to and from the central train station I recommend the S-Bahn short distance fare. The single ticket costs 1.50 euros.

In Stuttgart Bad Cannstatt, there are three SPAs (mineral springs) and a gay sauna (Pour Lui). In addition, you'll find many shopping facilities and a great variety of restaurants.
Not far from the apartment there is the "Wasen" where the Stuttgart Beer Festival takes place twice a year (in spring and in autumn), the Wilhelma (botanical-zoological garden), the "Theaterschiff" (a ship with two theater stages and a bar), the Tramway Museum, the Schleyer-Halle (concert hall), the Porsche Arena (sport events), the stadium, the Mercedes-Benz Museum and many other attractions.
Breakfast consists of toast, butter and jam.
